On the first single of his album "Off The Record" Karl Bartos brings this huge model of an iron crystal, built for the Expo 1958, to the blades. But how does iron crystal music? The ex-Kraftwerk combines variable metric and intelligent rhythm with calculated noise and the weightlessness of its elegant melodies - Neoclassicism meets electronic avant-garde. But he reaches deep into his music archive in which he found rhythms, riffs, hooks, sounds and melodies from his playing days with the power plant and newly edited and arranged.
