First released in 1993 on the Italian label, Minus Habens Records, "Concrete Jungle" is the second album by the influential project of Dirk Ivens (The Klinik, Absolute Body Control) and perhaps his greatest classic: a work that many fans of Nineties Industrial, Noise and EBM regard as absolutely groundbreaking. Only a few of the old electro pioneers are still active with great success and Mr. Ivens is one of them. Over the last three decades he has inspired countless acts to follow in his footsteps.
"Concrete Jungle" is now released for the first time on vinyl, in a limited edition of 700 copies. The double album contains all original songs, plus the "Extended Play EP" from 1994, with two exclusive songs and cover versions of songs by Joy Division, Suicide, Wire, Fad Gadget, Kraftwerk, plus even more rarities from old compilations. The artwork is based on the original design and comes in a deluxe gatefold cover with an individually numbered insert card.
