Persephone devoted - like on the previous album "Home" - the chamber-music-folky sounds. Artfully orchestrated acoustic (including oboe, piano, cello, double bass) and produced by none lesser than Matt Howden (Sieben, ex-Sol Invictus) succeeds Martin Hoefert (Sopor Aeternus, Janus) and John A. Rivers (Dead Can Dance) the musicians with "Atma Gyan" again a work of consummate musical beauty. Strong melodies and poetic lyrics, brilliantly presented and produced, are now a trademark for Persephone.
Like "Home" this album will be released in a lavish digipak, which was designed by Joachim Luetke (Marilyn Manson, Sopor Aeternus, Dimmu Borgir). "Atma Gyan" is a true work of art.
