Re-issue of the original album. All tracks recorded in 1988, except tracks 9 and 10 (1986), tracks 11 and 12 (1990) and track 13 (1992). The poems "Havamal", "Voluspa" and "Sigdrifumal" are taken from the Edda (based on translations by W.H. Auden and P.B. Taylor, adapted by FA). The lyrics on "Wotan" and "Nietzsche" are taken from "Also sprach Zarathustra" by Friedrich Nietzsche.
