Semen Finis is the result of a collaboration between Emanuele Buresta (L’Effet C’est Moi) and Adriano Taborro (Oneiric Folk): a dark ambient musical project that blends electronic atmospheres with echoes of ancestral folk.
The name "Semen Finis" holds a symbolic paradox: the seed of the end. Every conclusion carries within it a hidden potential the silent beginning of a new transformation. In this cyclical vision, the end is never definitive; it is a return to the origin, to the dark womb from which everything is born and to which everything returns.
This concept takes shape in the album "Ex tenebris semina," a sonic contemplation of the eternal cycle between birth and absence.
The title evokes that chaotic and undifferentiated substance of alchemy from which all things emerge… and into which all things dissolve.
It is a journey through the unmanifested, where non-existence is not an ending, but an integral part of the path. A sonic and metaphysical experience suspended between annihilation and creation: a return to the fertile void where origin and end become one.
