3 years after their last album, Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio are back with a new album: Nihilist Notes (And the Perpetual Quest 4 Meaning in Nothing). With the 4-track EP 'La Fleur du Mal' released in March, 'Nihilist Notes' gradually moves away from the more melodic aspects of the highly acclaimed 2019 album 'Let's Play [Two Girls & a Goat]'. 'Nihilist Notes' is dark, oppressive and rough. Dark verses and dystopian metaphors, orchestrated by drums and horns instead of guitars and pianos as we were used to. The sound is more martial than folk, but still clearly Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio. The new album forms a brilliant unity of the rawness of the past, like Conquest Love & Self-Perseverance, and the sophistication and perfection of the present. A fusion of past and present, which become a perfect symbiosis.
