CD 13 tracks, in digipak lim.
Studio album number 4 has been released and the name says it all! In addition to defining the thematic framework, the album title is an indication that a development is underway here, a further development of classic old-school EBM into new realms. Progressive, modern synth runs, broken monotony, extensions of the sound spectrum with digital effects on the analog generated sequences. From playful, synthpoppy echoes to raw, brute songs and multi-layered, stacked levels, the album offers an enormous range of electronic sound art, without ever taking a wistful look back on the journey forward.
In terms of content, the album highlights the technical development and its effects on the country and its people since the industrial revolution. On Industrielle Revolution, Michael Schrader's lyrics once again provide plenty of space for crude and sometimes biting social criticism, complemented by a blood-red splash of color in Käfigkampf, for which Ralf Dörper (DIE KRUPPS) provided the lyrics.
