Bombastic and heroic. These are words that inevitably shoot through your mind when "genius loci" swept over me. To have something there to grab first: I'm thrilled! After all, what with L'Effet C'Est Moi is delivered here, has very large class and who is an incredibly intensive setting imaginable from martial neoclassical with a portion of medieval touch, which is most cordially invited to witness this spectacle.
was brought into being this strong and I now unfortunately completely unknown project Emanuele Buresta and the band name it was taken from a quote by Nietzsche. The titles "Genius Loci" is known to be from Latin and literally can be named as 'The spirit of place', but later referred to the cultural significance of a place.
The offered here is very rich and live with each piece distinctive properties that emerge the moment you first use enormous. Be it a powerful percussion, bagpipes, horns blaring, singing heroic or grandiose deposits - quickly becomes clear that L'Effet C'Est Moi take a completely separate track. The whole reacted very powerful, then there is the latest on "home" no holding back. To rousing performance that is, keeps the listener back with open mouth - what I call music!
But not only driving elements shaped as the sound, no, the Worn comes with "Genius Loci" to light and let the consumers between the powerful outbursts sometimes some air. For example, the following "Nympha" while "Vires Vital" do something majestic sprayed.
"Genius Loci" sounds exciting from beginning to end, moving and sometimes even contains some apocalyptic character. Stylistically, one can not really put this masterpiece in one drawer, but the above inspiration all the same concise and variety is thus also more than just given. Maybe this is just the reason why the work should be so inspiring and moving. From the first moment, barely perceptible crawl up emotions, the foot begins to sit still, images are built up - what more do you want?
In the end I can already say for sure to keep one of the highlights of this year in their hands. Just fantastic!
