Matthew Toth is the one who hides behind the project Shattered Hand which has struck its roots in the neofolk.
In "Thrown Into The Fire" is a debut that not only have a consistent visual design, but also has remarkable aspects.
It quickly create pieces such as a "Into The Field Of Fear", to be heard. This is due partly to the unusual instrumentation and lovely vocals and the extremely variable.
It shows the musician at impressively that Neofolk must be limited and not delimiting.
A slightly oppressive "Infinite" follows with "The Stood In Winter" a piece that recalls in the best manner to Death In June. But do not worry - with Shattered Hand it sounds absolutely independently and easily manages to enchant the listener.
So "The Orchestration Of Demis" certainly attest to something dramatic and beautiful instrumental "The Exile of Sita," or the soulful "Fons Origo Et" are requiring more performances, the absolute naming.
Sometimes there are also works on the woven subtle ambient space, which of course also contribute to enhance mood and musical settings like "Someone Inside" enormous. But those are merely sits in the background, so that "Thrown Into The Fire 'otherwise Neofolk album is a thoroughbred that comes along also with percussions.
The album should it necessarily be consumed in quiet seclusion in order to capture as the true spirit.
The inherent beauty here is the piece that is barely detectable, so that should be addressed a bit more closely.
Friends of neofolk, which also place great value on refined atmosphere, should this project important to target time.
As can march towards specifically bands like Of The Wand And The Moon or A Challenge Of Honour are considered and the future seems to keep big.
